We are first-generation farmers raising sheep on rotating pasture in Dickerson, Maryland. Chestnut Ridge Farm began with a desire to care for a place and grow food shaped by patience, attention, and respect for the land.

While our fields recover, we supplement with a small amount of high-quality grain for animal health. It is a transitional approach, and we are open and intentional about the trade-offs.

What began with flowers has grown into a regenerative farming system built around healthy soil, healthy animals, and healthy people. Today, Chestnut Ridge Farm connects families to where their food comes from.
